Los Altos Pharmacy offers a FREE informational seminar once a month on Bio-identical (Natural) Hormone replacement. These lectures provide the latest news on achieving total hormonal balance and are conducted by Becky Bell, R.Ph., hormone consultant and compounding pharmacist. Our seminar is open to both women and men, yet focuses on women in peri-menopause/menopause and provides a review of the menstrual cycle and other hormonal changes that occur as a woman ages. Participants have the opportunity to view “The Seventh Woman, An Introduction to Changing Your Life Through Understanding Your Hormones” and the lecture is followed by a question and answer period.

Starting this July, Los Altos Pharmacy will be offering a FREE informational seminar on nutrition and anti-aging. We will discuss how good nutrition promotes lasting energy, cell rejuvenation, and high antioxidant levels to help protect your body and fight against aging. You will learn about our new biophotonic scanner that measures antioxidant activity in your body.* You can achieve good nutrition without drastically altering your current habits!

Make an appointment for a private consultation with Becky, our pharmacist who has been trained in women's health issues and menopause. (becky@losaltospharmacy.com). The consultation fee of $50/half hour includes recommendations to your physician for bio-identical hormone replacement based upon results of saliva testing of free hormone levels. Saliva testing, through ZRT Laboratories is billed separately at $30/hormone. In an effort to promote health and wellness, we are offering a FREE pass to Equinox Fitness Club if you sign up for a private consultation with Becky!

Nutrition
Make an appointment for a private consultation with Dr. Doug Husbands, our Certified Clinical Nutritionist who is also board certified in Anti-aging, with additional training in Functional Medicine, dealing with underlying processes in common chronic diseases. The consultation fee of $50/half hour includes recommendations for nutritional and nutraceutical (supplement) therapy to improve your antioxidant levels based on the BioPhotonic Scanner score. (The scan fee of $25 is not included in the consultation fee.) For those who desire additional assistance using nutritional and therapeutic lifestyle changes for complex chronic disease syndromes, with advanced functional laboratory testing for diagnosing and correcting the underlying disease processes, the consultation fee is $75/quarter hour. A report is provided for your physician based on either the BioPhotonic Scanner score or the functional laboratory tests.
